In Area analysis, you can assess network coverage and model changes within a specific delivery area.
Use it for hands-on network planning, evaluating your existing network, and simulating adding, removing, or relocating locations.
On the Geospatial analysis dashboard, click Add new analysis and choose Area analysis.
Select the delivery area you'd like to analyze and click Start.
The outline of the chosen delivery area will appear on the map.
Click Choose type of data to display and select a base layer. The base layer is the primary data distribution you'll be working with — it appears as a heatmap or cluster distribution of data points within the delivery area, depending on your map settings.
Adjust the date range to update the base layer data accordingly. Note that population data is not affected by date changes.
To show your existing network, click Show current network and select the type of OOH points you want to display.
If performance data is available, click Choose current network metrics to overlay metrics such as utilization and collections for each location.
To layer in points of interest, click Show points of interest and choose the collections you want to display.
Once your network or points of interest are visible, open the Coverage panel to understand the reach of your current network. You can also click individual locations or select all visible points to view their combined coverage.
For a detailed breakdown of coverage, see:

Area analysis lets you model changes to your network before making any physical decisions. You can do this manually, use the automated recommendation system, or execute a previously created workflow.
To simulate changes manually:
Disable existing locations to see the impact of removing them.
Add distance pins to the map to evaluate potential new locations.
To get optimal recommendations and automate the process, use:
Generate: locations, coverage, or locations on POIs
Reduce: locations, coverage, or locations using POIs
Alternatively, if you have created workflows, you can execute them directly on this page.

Once you're satisfied with your analysis, click Save in the top right corner.
After saving, you can also add a description to your analysis to keep track of decisions, ideas, and insights. Click the Description tab, add your notes in the text field, and click Save again.
