Use Reduce coverage to optimize your network by removing inefficient locations without dropping below a coverage threshold you want to maintain.
On the Geospatial analysis dashboard, click Add new analysis and choose Area analysis.
Select the delivery area you'd like to analyze and click Start.
Choose a date range and base layer.
Click Show current network and select the type of OOH points to display, or add distance pins manually via Manage map pins > Add distance pin.
Check the current or estimated coverage in the Coverage panel.
Click Reduce > Reduce coverage.
Enter the coverage percentage you want to preserve.
Optionally, select enrichment layers.
Click Reduce.
Locations with the lowest coverage and those most impacting nearby locations will be disabled. Any distance pins you added will be removed.
Cutting costs while maintaining service levels
If you have a coverage target to maintain, use Reduce coverage to determine how many locations you can remove without falling below it. This is useful when looking to reduce partnership or operational costs without significantly impacting recipients.
Cleaning up an oversaturated network
If your network has grown and you suspect there are redundant locations, Reduce coverage helps you identify and remove the least impactful ones while keeping your overall coverage intact.
Preparing for a network restructure
Use Reduce coverage as a first step to understand the minimum number of locations needed to maintain a given coverage level before planning any relocations or replacements.
