Here’s a list of terms used in the platform and their definitions. If something is not covered, message us, and we will add it.
Coverage menu - A side panel containing the current and estimated coverage and most and least impactful locations based on the selected data layer.
Configuration menu - A side menu with the option to change the type of distance measured by isochrones.
Current coverage - The coverage of existing parcel lockers and shops in a delivery area. It’s calculated based on the selected data layer.
Collected - Shipments picked up from a parcel locker or shop by recipients.
Delivery area - A defined geographical area within which a business currently provides or plans to provide delivery services. Users with access to the Delivery area management page can add and edit delivery areas.
Details menu - A right-click activated menu with information such as location, capacity, working hours, and coverage of a chosen out-of-home point.
Distance pin - A draggable pin used to measure the walking or fixed distance from the location where it’s placed.
Disable location - A right-click function that disables an out-of-home point from the network model. A disabled location will still be visible on the map, but its coverage won’t be included in the calculations, and the recommendation system won’t recognize it as an existing location.
Dwell time - The duration a shipment spends stored or "dwelling" in a parcel locker or PUDO point before it is picked up by the recipient.
Enrichment layer - Additional data layers used to produce better location recommendations. Enrichment layers are optional and can be chosen after inputting the target coverage and location number.
Estimated coverage - A new, potential coverage created by a change in the network, such as adding or removing a pin, disabling or enabling existing locations, or generating new locations.
Fixed distance - Shows the amount of data points covered within 250 and 500 meters of a location.
Isochrone -Catchment area or visual representation of an area that can be reached from a specific location within a given time or distance.
Heatmap chart - A chart that displays values for a main variable across two axis variables as a grid of rectangles. The axis variables are divided into ranges, and each cell’s color or shade indicates the value of the main variable in the corresponding cell range.
Heatmap distribution: Hexagons of different colors or shades represent the frequency distribution of data points within a delivery area.
Least impactful locations - A list of three existing locations (OOH points) with the smallest coverage compared to the rest of the network in the delivery area.
Network Generator - A recommendation system that provides suggestions for new locations and ways to increase coverage or reduce the number of OOH points.
Out-of-home (OOH) point - A parcel locker or other types of PUDOs.
Most impactful location - A list of three existing locations (OOH points) with the highest coverage compared to the rest of the network in the delivery area.
Package - A parcel or document that has been delivered.
Point of Interest (POI) - A specific location useful for analysis, such as gas stations, shopping malls, grocery stores, etc.

Team - Entities, such as couriers or OOH points, grouped based on a company’s specific criteria, usually hubs, delivery areas, or geographical distribution.
Unwanted location -The ability to mark a location as undesirable and exclude it from analysis while generating suggestions.
Failed (OOH Point Analysis) - Shipments not collected by recipients from an OOH point during the defined storage period.
Utilization rate - The ratio of the number of parcels delivered to an out-of-home point and its total capacity.
User - A unique account with defined permissions. Users can be created and updated by an Admin user.
Walking distance - Shows the number of data points within a 5 and 10-minute walk from a location.
Zones - A group of delivery areas, teams, and hubs visible to a user.
